Pipe break in local school = no days off!

While pipe breaks mostly happen in the winter, it is possible to have one occur in the spring or summer. In this case a pipe that was not used since last summer was sitting over the winter and spring only to burst when recently used. The water shot out and affected two class rooms.

Luckily the only things that were affected was the carpet and some drywall. SERVPRO of Woodridge/Bolingbrook was on the job within the hour. The water was extracted from the carpet and baseboards were detached from the walls. The insulation was removed after detaching cabinets and flood cutting the drywall.

As always, SERVPRO was happy to help with the clean up of our local schools.
