The broken pipe in the ceiling led to 100% of this room needed to be demoed.

Buying a new home is perhaps one of the most exciting things for a young couple. Although very exciting, it can also be stressful. And as if it wasn't stressful enough, imagine having to deal with a broken pipe flooding your home just two weeks after you've moved in! This was the case for one couple, but luckily they were quick to call SERVPRO. SERVPRO arrived and began to assess the damage and started the process of removing the effected materials. The broken pipe effected a bedroom and the basement directly beneath it. Once they had removed the effected materials such as drywall and carpet, it was time to place the equipment that would dry the rooms out. The equipment consisted of numerous amount of air movers and dehumidifiers, these pieces of equipment will work together to dry out the spaces. The couples quick action to call SERVPRO most likely helped them limit the damage and saved themselves even more troubles.
