Storm Damage in Romeoville, IL

This flooded basement is the result of sump pump failure due to storms that ripped through Romeoville, IL.  The family was out of town when the loss occurred.  They came home to no power and a flooded basement.  Imagine the devastation.  As you can see in the before photo above- this basement had a lot of content.  The homeowner called SERVPRO of Woodridge/Bolingbrook to come out to assess the situation. Once we were onsite we knew that we had to get to work immediately so that we could get this home back to preloss condition.  This required a major pack out of the contents in the basement so that we could get to the floor and walls to begin the drying process.  The crew worked diligently to carefully pack up the contents and transport everything to our temperature controlled warehouse.  The whole family was grateful that we did this because by doing so we were able to save a lot of their cherished memories and belongings.
